
Director of Data Services and Analytics
Alex Hryhorczuk is the Director of Data Services and Analytics at Third Horizon, where he integrates data science into consulting engagements and provides quantitative analysis supporting behavioral health care delivery evaluations, payment strategy, and Transparency in Coverage analytics for provider and broker clients. His work focuses on helping organizations translate complex health care and payer data into actionable insights that improve decision-making and system performance.
Alex has seven years of experience in health care data analytics spanning enterprise, state, and national initiatives. His expertise includes program evaluation, data visualization, claims analysis, and interpretation of large-scale payer datasets, including Transparency in Coverage machine-readable files and behavioral health utilization data. At Third Horizon, he has helped build the firm’s data services practice, enabling clients to make evidence-based decisions related to care delivery, investment strategy, and behavioral health system performance.
Prior to joining Third Horizon, Alex served as Chief Data Officer at sr4-DIS, where he developed analytics capabilities focused on prevalence, treatment access, and recovery support services for substance use and mental health disorders. His work mapped recovery support assets at the local level to identify treatment gaps and guide strategic investment decisions for health systems and government stakeholders. He has also presented on data-driven decision-making at behavioral health conferences, including the Addiction Professionals of North Carolina Spring Conference.
Alex earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgetown University.
