Topher Rasmussen

Topher Rasmussen is the Communications Manager at Third Horizon, where he leads AI research, experimentation, and implementation initiatives while overseeing multimedia production, creative direction, and strategic communications projects. He develops content for whitepapers, presentations, and client-facing materials, manages UI and visual design initiatives, and produces podcast and video content for the firm.

Topher brings a distinctive interdisciplinary background spanning communications, clinical social work, theatre arts, grant writing, and applied data science. His expertise includes multimedia storytelling, AI implementation strategy, presentation and document design, visual communications, and process optimization. Since joining Third Horizon in 2021, he has supported a range of communications and innovation initiatives, including serving as Associate Producer for Season 2 of The Cost of Care podcast and producing both seasons of The HC3 Podcast.

Prior to joining Third Horizon, Topher held positions with the University of Utah, Volunteers of America, the YWCA of Utah, and Salt Lake Acting Company. During his five years at Salt Lake Acting Company, he served as Grant Writer and Education Coordinator, securing emergency funding that helped sustain the organization through an 18-month pandemic shutdown. He also led fundraising initiatives and managed grant applications across federal, state, county, and corporate funding sources.

Topher earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies with concentrations in Theatre Arts and Psychology from Utah Valley University.
